Made it to therapy a little late, but I made it. All well.
Came home and Skyped the FWiB. Then he had to get off because his brother was trying to contact him. So they talked for over two hours, while I puttered on the computer, added water to the turtle tank, and then went and finished reading The Goblin Emperor. I had just finished and was contemplating taking a nap when I heard from the FWiB again. So I asked if he wanted to Skype again and he responded by Skyping me. We talked for a while longer. After that I did take a nap.
Got up and went to my meeting. Ran a little late so instead of Boston Market I just got pizza. I dreamed of pizza last night for some reason, so it seemed inevitable.
The meeting was small but good. It was step five.
And then I came home and all is well.
Last night Oreo ran around my room and then ran over my face, stepping squarely on my eye and leaving a long bloody scratch on my forehead. Fortunately my hair hides it. It was scary because the claw could have just as easily have gone in my eye. I am very thankful to still have both eyes.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My meetings and the people there.
3. Oreo's claws did not get in my eye.
4. Good books. The Goblin Emperor is delightful.
5. Preordered the next (last?) Kencyrath novel by P. C. Hodgell.
6. Bed soon.
