Successful day
Jul. 2nd, 2019 10:32 pmI overslept, but managed to make it to the bus on time, and got to work on time. So that was good.
Today I did something I have needed to do ever since the divorce... I changed the beneficiary on my pension from the ex-husband to the Kid. This is a big step forward for me in Getting Stuff Done that I need to. I did it on-line. I called the Kid, because I thought I needed her SS number. Found I didn't, but she called me back anyway so we had a nice, though short, talk.
After work I Skyped the FWiB. Things are looking good for him getting out of the nursing home.
Ate at Burger King, got a crispy chicken parm. It was ok, not great.
Went to my meeting, it was small, just two of us. We did step and tradition seven.
Came home, and that's about all.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My meetings and the people there.
3. The Kid.
4. Got the beneficiary changed.
5. Orange trumpety flowers, and purple flowers blooming.
6. Didn't rain, though it was supposed to.
