Torrential downpour
Jul. 22nd, 2019 10:33 pmThat was the main thing about today. Work was pretty normal. Then when we were getting ready to leave, the sky opened. There had been rain already but it had stopped. Then this downpour.
I Skyped the FWiB from the bus and the rain had grown less by the time I got home. I had originally intended to go to the drugstore for my meds but the rain was still too bad. I was soaked from the knees down including my feet being sopping wet. So I went straight home and Skyped the FWiB from there.
And that was the day. Except there is something wrong with my computer. It isn't downloading Windows updates. I ran the troubleshooter, but it didn't help. I don't know what to do.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. I had my umbrella.
3. It wasn't raining on my way to work, only home.
4. Much cooler.
5. Home and dry now.
6. Ice cream for dessert.
