SHarecon DayThree

Last official day of the con. Again got up and had breakfast and coffee. The day was again spent in games, panels, and episodes, broken up by our Italian dinner. Delicious.

Played Starsky and Hutch Cards Against Humanity again. After that we watched Sweet Revenge (The final episode of the series) as the last official thing of the con. Since then I managed to squeeze in a very brief Skype with the FWiB, and watched more vids.

Now have just been investigating the vids of Martha's (my room mate) son, Insane Ian, who's a youtube performer.

Tomorrow it's all over and back to the real world. *sigh*

Post SHarecon

Got up extra early today to get to the hotel breakfast. Then showered and dressed and hung out in the con room, helping out, watching vids, saying good-bye, and killing time until 4:00, when the hotel shuttle took me and another con member to the train station. We were lucky and actually got seats, the train was very crowded.

She got out at Philadelphia, and after that I called mashfanficchick's mother and asked if we were still on for her picking me up, and she said yes and she'd call me when she got to Penn to arrange to meet.

After that I called the FWiB, and we talked from there to almost Penn, which was nice. At Penn, just as I was getting out of the train, mashfanficchick's mother called, and I said I had arrived and she said she had too, and we arranged whereto meet.

We met up, and she had MJ with her. We went back to Queens and picked up mashfanficchick and the four of us went to a Chinese takeout place near me for dinner. It was pretty good.

Came home, and all is fine with the cats and turtle.

So a splendid weekend was had, and I am so glad I went.
