Good day

Though I'm still a little sick. Slept late. Got up and showered, dressed, and went out to breakfast at the bagel place. My usual bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll.

Came back and started browsing the computer when the Kid called, stuff about tomorrow mostly, and about her move to the new apartment. Then mashfanficchick called and we made plans for the day. They picked me up shortly thereafter. We went to College Point so she could pick up her wallet which she left in a friends car yesterday.

Then we went to Bay Terrace , to Panera, and hung out while her mother did some work.

After that we went and picked Dori up, and went to BJ's and Target. I did some necessary shopping, and while I was there the FWiB got home from his day out with his sisters. I called him from the car, and we had a brief talk while they drove us back to my apartment and I brought the perishables in and put them in the fridge, and fed the cats and turtle.

Then we went out to dinner, to Chile's. We were the last ones to leave, it was pretty late, and the plac we were going to go for dessert was already closed. So we went to a 24 hour Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins and were going to get stuff there, but ended up going to a different one because the friisr one had all their ice cream labels mixed up and mashfanfichchick was worried about ended up with a different ice cream than she ordered and getting something with gluten. So we left.

Finally got our dessert at the second one. Then finally came home, and now to bed. It was really nice seeing Dori again; she's a fun person.

Busy day

I got up and showered and dressed and ate breakfast and coffeed. Then at 1:30 I left the house to head to my hair dresser appointment. And google maps screwed me over. Despite the directions they gave me, the F train was running on the G track, and as a result I ended up in Brooklyn. I had to back track and take the 7 to the 6 and then instead of being able to get out at Spring Street like google maps said I should do, I discovered that the 6 wasn't stopping at Spring and I had to get off at Bleaker and walk. I was a half an hour late. But the Kid was there and told them I was coming, so that's OK.

They fit me in and my hair looks really good. There is a lot less of it then there was! I like the way it looks and feels though.

Then we went in to Queens to Queens Center mall, and the Kid went to the piercing place she found to get her ears pierced. She had had them done many years ago when she was about 8 or so, and the holes had closed. So she had them redone.

We also went to Penny's and I tied on dresses. I found one that looks good, and was CHEAP! It was originally $139, but it was on final clearance for $19.39. Yes, that is correct. So I celebrated by taking The Kid and mashfanficchick out to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. I owed mashfanficchick money so that was to take care of that. Anyway, we had a great time, and eventually mashfanficchick's mother drove me and the Kid home.

And now it's time for bed. My throat feels almost normal, btw.
