Very wet Friday the 13th

It wasn't raining when I left the building to go to my therapy. So I didn't take an umbrella. This was after oversleeping because I made the mistake of turning off the alarm before I got out of bed. I hurried a bunch and caught up with myself so I wasn't late, though I had to have my coffee and donut afterward instead of before.

But it still wasn't raining so I had no presentment of what it would be like after I left work. It was raining then. Oh, was it ever raining! Cold, sloppy rain. I went to the bank before I ate dinner, and deposited a check, and then I went to Boston Market. I was soaked by that point.

Then I Skyped the FWiB and went and while we were talking, went and had hot chocolate in Dunkin' Donuts while I waited for my meeting. The meeting was small but good.

Then I went home, and got drenched again while waiting for the bus.

On the positive side of things I got an invitation to a baby shower for Sara and Fabian. Of course I can't go, it's in Arizona, but it's nice to be invited.

Waiting for Oldest Brother to call, he's going to be late because he had to get gas for the patrol car he drives.
