Day 58: Meeting with my boss

Turned out it was nothing to worry about, it was exactly as advertised, just a "keep in touch" type thing. She asked about Oldest Brother, and sympathized about Sybil, and then told me everything that she didn't know anything about. I told her I had an idea for a virtual program and submitted it but got nothing back yet. And that was basically it.

So aside from that I Skyped the FWiB. That was before the meeting actually, and we could have gone on longer if I hadn't had to get off to get to the meeting. Then afterward I went and reread The Physicians of Vilnoc, and then ended up napping.

Called my dinner in from Seamless, one of the burgers I like. Then tuned in to the Thurber reading only to discover he'd postponed it to 9:00 so I went and lay down and started rereading the Orphans of Raspay. At a bit before 9 I got myself a glass of mead and drank it while I listened to Thurber.

Then Oldest Brother called and I had him call back in a few minutes so I could get in the last bit of the reading. Then when he did call back we talked while I fed the pets.

And that's basically the day.

Gratitude list:

1. The FWiB.

2. The meeting was nothing much.

3. Oldest Brother sent me a Mother's Day card that got here today.

4. Oreo is perky.

5. Good books.

6. Girl Scout cookies.

Forgot to say I also talked to the Kid.

And for the last several days these posts have not been crossposting to LJ and I've had to do it by hand.
