The new turtle dock came!

I'm amazed it showed up so quickly.

In other news, I got to work nice and early. The air conditioning was not quite as bad as last week, but definitely too strong. I tried to fax my tax info to my preparer but I couldn't get the fax machine to work. But I found out they are open Saturday so I'm going to take my stuff in person then.

The Kid called me during lunch and we had a nice talk.

The bigwig in human resources was touring branches today but he didn't make it to us. That's good.

It was raining when I left, but not as badly as Monday, and no thunder, and I had my umbrella. Got home and the rain was much lighter here.

Skyped the FWiB and had a good time. Pretty soon after we got off my doorbell buzzed and it was the delivery of the turtle dock. I fished the old one out and set the new one up. The old one must have been a medium size, because this one, which is a large, is much bigger, which is good for Christie.

Made mac and cheese for dinner, just because, and then went into the bedroom to read. The Kid called, and we talked, and after we got off it was almost time for Oldest Brother to call, so I just played solitaire until he did.

The I fed the pets, and that's all. Oh, I got my electric bill today from Con Ed. A big increase, presumably because of all the ac last month, most of every day. But still not too bad.
