Very quiet day

Slept late. Finally got up and had breakfast and coffee, and read on line.

Then went to the bedroom and did my lease renewal paperwork. I now have it all ready to be mailed tomorrow. Two more years.

Then I read the Dresden book I was rereading, Skin Game, for the rest of the afternoon. The Kid called me while I was reading it, and we had a nice talk. She was in quite a good mood for a change.

When I finished the book, I let the FWiB know, and we started Skyping. But just a few minutes in he had to get off because his brother called. They talked for a long time, and he was tired when he got back to me so we only spoke for a little while and he had to go.

After that I had a gin and tonic, the first in awhile. After that, I had dinner. There was no Thurber reading tonight, nor will there be tomorrow, so I didn't miss anything.

I finished off the green tea ice cream, and went into the bedroom to wait for Oldest Brother to call. I reread some of Peace Talks. It fists together much better having reread Skin Game.

Oldest Brother called, nothing really new. He had done his weekly call to Middle Brother, who is fine. I did a Shipt order, to be delivered tomorrow between 7 and 8 pm.

And that's all. Back to the branch tomorrow, hope the AC is working.
