More pictures

But I've pretty much reached the end. There's a couple more folders in the restored pictures that I could do, but I'm probably not going to, for one reason or another. So what I did was I downloaded the cds of pictures I still had, five of them, and grouped them in one folder in the old external drive. I still have to save the work I did today on the new external drive, but I can do that tomorrow.

So aside from that, I got up latish, and had breakfast and coffee. I Skyped the FWiB of course, and we had a really nice conversation.

After that I did some of what I described above with the pictures, and I sent one to the FWiB of him and another person, his one-time boss and late good friend, that left him so touched he called me on the phone to thank me. So that made me feel good.

Then I Draino'd the bathroom sink, and I called in my dinner to Seamless. I got a gyro. No baklava this time, the place I order from, their gyros are wonderful but their baklava is so-so. Right after I ordered it, the Kid called, and we talked until I realized that I'd left the Draino in the sink twice as long as I should have. I went and rinsed out out while we talked. I hope I haven't damaged the pipes. Its still slow, anyway, so I'll have to do it again tomorrow.

Then we talked until my dinner arrived. It was late. But very tasty.

After dinner I went and read. I'm starting on a reread of The Lord of the Rings, for the umpteenth time. But it's been a few years, in fact over 10 years, so I'm due for one.

I had ice cream for dessert a bit after 9, and then waited for Oldest Brother to call. We talked, and I fed the pets, and I sent him a picture of the Kid with Pandora, Oldest Brother's late cat. It's a very cute picture.

And here I am. Going to read a bit more, then go to bed.
