9/11, the Wicked Day 19 years on.

So today is the 19th anniversary of the day. As always, sorrow and memory, but slowly the pain clears. I didn't do anything particularly related to the day today.

Got up in time for my 9:00 meeting, and had breakfast and coffee. The meeting was just listening to the speakers, but pretty interesting none-the-less. It was on the subject of our "back to school" efforts.

During lunch I called the Kid, she called me back a bit later and we spoke a little while. Then I read some more of Akata Warrior.

During my break I did a Shipt order to get the orange juice I forgot yesterday. I came up with enough things that I could use to make the $35 free delivery limit. Then I watched an hour long recording of webinar, and that took me to the end of my work day.

Just when I finished that, my Shipt order arrived so I put that away, just in time to Skype the FWiB. We had a nice time, as always.

After we finished I had dinner, and it was time for my Al-anon meetings by Zoom. They worked out very well.

Then I called Middle Brother, he's fine. And then I caught up on my reading on-line, and waited for Oldest Brother to call. He's OK, but didn't do much today in the way of looking for a new place to live.

And that was the day. Not very exciting. Tomorrow I work at the branch, my first Saturday working since we reopened. Not really looking forward to it.

Christie the Turtle has pushed her filter all out of place. I'll have to reattach it to the wall of the tank.
