Day 2 of my vacation

Did what I said I would do yesterday, got up and got dressed and took out the garbage. Then I walked around the block and discovered that the Dunkin' Donuts is open again, so I got a pumpkin spice latte to celebrate. Then I continued to the bagel shop and got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. Came back home and ate.

Then I did some stuff in the kitchen, and bagged recyclables and took them out after I puttered awhile on the computer.

Skyped the FWib for a nice long time, he's doing well. Then I went and read more of the Lord of the Rings. Also I texted J, who I hadn't heard from since July. She's OK, and I suggested she come to the meeting tonight, which she did.

So at 8:00 I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom, which went very well. After that I ate dinner and then went and read some more. I'm now up to the second half of the Two Towers, the passage of the Dead Marshes.

Oldest Brother called. He did a little house hunting today but to no avail.

I fed the pets, and now I'm here. Going to call the Kid after I finish I think.
