Dinner out
Nov. 12th, 2020 11:31 pmOverslept today again, was a little late for work but not bad.
After work I met up with L, and we picked up N. The Kid called me while we were driving, she was in a very good mood about getting a present from the Boy, an Ironworkers Union hoodie.
We went to a restaurant called Sergio's in Pelham Manor. It was a lovely place, the service was amazing and the food was very good. We had a very nice time, and then we drove N home and L took me to the bus.
The bus came immediately after I got the the stop, I didn't have to wait at all, so I got home quite quickly. I fed the pets (it was almost 10:00) and called Oldest Brother. I had told Middle Brother last week that I might not be able to call him tonight and I'd call him Friday if I couldn't, I hope he remembers. After talking to oldest Brother, i Skyped the FWiB.
We only talked for about 20 minutes, but it was nice.
Now I'm going to go to bed and read for a bit. I finished The Dragon, the Witch and the Railroad last night, now I have the sequel to read, The Redundant Dragon.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Friends.
3. Good food.
4. The rain mostly stopped.
5. Didn't have to wait a long time for a bus.
6. Tentatively hopeful about the way the political turmoil is shaking out.
