Back at work
Made it to work on time despite having overslept, so that's good. Had a YA meeting (virtually of course) in the morning, and a one-on-one with my boss in the afternoon. Both were OK.
The news is that I heard from the Medicaid guy at the rehab, Oldest Brother has an interview by phone with the SSA abut Disability on Friday at 11:00. So everyone can be thinking Good Thoughts or praying then.
After work I went through Flushing to deposit a check in Oldest Brother's account, and to do a little shopping. That accomplished, I came home and Skyped the FWiB.
I called Oldest Brother again, and then I called the Kid, who didn't answer. Then I had dinner.
Puttered on the computer, then went to the bedroom to lie down for a bit. Played solitaire and read facebook on my phone. Then I came out here to feed the pets, and here I am.
Worried as hell about what the next few days will bring to the country.
