New glasses
Jan. 22nd, 2021 10:25 pmGot up this morning, had breakfast and coffee, showered and dressed, and headed off to Target.
My eye exam showed nothing unusual, and in fact my eyes have gotten a little better than last year. And no sign of glaucoma, which is always a fear of mine since Dad lost vision in one eye due to it. I picked out new frames, and I'll get my new glasses in a week to 10 days. It was cheaper than I expected, too.

mashfanficchick who was on zer way to the store with zer mother. So I bought a box of masks, and waited for zer. Ze did a little bit of shopping, and then we went to Starbucks, and ze bought me a latte. We stood by the car while I drank it, and then said good-bye and I took the bus home.
Took lunch when I got in and started work at 2:00. The Kid called on my break and we talked, she was down but got more cheerful as we talked.
After work I Skyped the FWiB. We talked a long time, till I had to get off and call Oldest Brother and then go to my Al-anon meeting. The meeting was very good.
After that I had dinner, and went to the bedroom for awhile to putter on my phone and play solitaire. Called Oldest Brother again too.
Fed the pets, and here I am.
