No more snow days

The library was closed today, and is going to be closed tomorrow, but we don't have a snow day, we have to work from home. Of course, I have tomorrow as an all day medical, so I don't have to. Technically I suppose I could work from home in the morning and then go to my appointment, thus saving some sick leave, but I don't wanna'. I have the sick leave to take, so I'm taking it.

Anyway, today I did work from home. The big thing is that I put final touches on my blog post and submitted it for editing and publication. We'll see if it gets approved.

Aside from that I downloaded and started reading another book from NetGalley. My luck has run out, The first two, Killing Plot and Samael, were both very good. Kings and Daemons is not. But I persevere because reading it counts as doing work.

I also watched a genre training recording and a webinar recording. So I filled up the day.

Then after work I called Oldest Brother for the second time. He's... I don't know. Better than after the stroke first happened, but still so incoherent. I hurts to talk to him, he's so obviously still there but damaged.

Anyway, I Skyped the FWiB, and we had a nice talk. Then I had dinner and went to the bedroom and puttered on my phone till it was time to call Oldest Brother again. Which I did. Then I came out here and printed out directions to get to my doctor's appointment tomorrow. The printer is working fine since I reinstalled it, so that's good.

Fed the pets, and here I am.

4. Doctor's appointment hasn't been cancelled because of the weather (the morning appointments were)

5. The Kid is on the phone now.
