Saturday work

I was a little late or work but not badly, amazing considering how much I overslept. Work was quiet, though busier than I expected. I mostly processed magazines. Caught up on the backlog of the City Record.

Came home and found that my beginner crochet kit had been delivered. I set it aside and called Oldest Brother, then Skyped the FWiB.

After that I got my laundry together and took it to the laundromat and dropped it off. Came home, and had dinner.

Then I called Oldest Brother again, and said good night. And then I called the Kid, meaning to tell her the crochet kit was here, but she didn't pick up.

So finally I opened the kit. The trouble is it does assume you know the basics already, which I sort of know some, but not really. So I fiddled around till it was time to feed the pets, then after I did that, I looked up a youtube vid on basic crochet, and that's what I needed. So I'll practice some tonight and more tomorrow, and I should be able to figure this out.
