To the surgeon
Apr. 27th, 2021 10:13 pmI slept late today and got up when the Kid called me. Then I called Oldest Brother. Had a facebook message from Frank C, they are going to call me tomorrow night.
Anyway, I puttered online, then showered and dressed. I had extra time so I watched an episode of The Expanse. That killed time till it was time for![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick and zer mother to pick me up.
We went to Old Navy, but they didn't have anything ze liked, so we went to Target. While we were there I found a nice pair of purple-pink sweatpants on clearance so I got those, I needed a new pair of sweats.
Then we went to the surgeon. And I waited. And waited. And waited. Finally I got taken into the exam room, where I waited some more. Eventually I saw the surgeon, she looked over my paperwork, did a breast exam, and told me I had to have an MRI, and after that we'd discuss the next steps. And that was all. From 5:15 to 7:45. I called M and S and cancelled the meeting tonight, of course.
Then I called Oldest Brother and the Kid to tell them how it had gone. Then we went out to Wild Fig for dinner, and that was nice. Then they brought me back home, and I Skyped the FWiB for a short while, then called Oldest Brother again to say good night.
And that was the day at the surgeons.
