Happy Star Wars Day!
May. 4th, 2021 10:17 pmMay the Fourth be with you!
OK, aside from that. I worked from home, and aside from a genre training that was, oddly enough, on Star Trek, not Star Wars, books, and a webinar recording, spent most of it reading review books. During lunch I finally called AARP to answer their questions about my life insurance application. They wanted to know about one of my prescriptions and my mental health, not at all what I thought they'd ask. I thought they'd ask about the breast biopsies and their results. But no, they did not.
Then after work I called Oldest Brother for the second time, and puttered online until the FWiB was ready to Skype. Then I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom, which was quite successful though S wasn't there.
Then I had dinner and went to the bedroom. Called Oldest Brother again, then called the Kid. Last night I finally got through to her, or rather, she called me, and we discussed going to John and Denise's for a Mother's Day barbeque. So that'll be nice. I think they want company for the first Mother's Day without Aunt Helen.
Anyway, after I called the kid I read a little in the fifth Invisible Library book, The Mortal Word. And then I fed the pets, and here I am.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Family, especially John and Denise.
3. The AARP questions were not what I expected.
4. Successfully downloaded a review book to my computer.
5. Good books.
6. My meetings and the people at them.
