Had the procedure today
Jul. 8th, 2021 10:06 pmGot up at 6:30, or actually a little before cause I woke up just before the alarm was supposed to go off. Showered with the special soap and got dressed comfortably.

mashfanficchick and zer mother were here a little early too, just before 8, so I got to the hospital early. Which meant more waiting cause they started on time, but that's OK.
They did it under a general again, but not as deeply I don't think because I remember more afterward and was more awake when they let me go. Again I had coffee and cookies afterward.
The dressing is thick and covers my right chest above my breast. It wasn't painful at all before, now it's a little uncomfortable, I think the local is wearing off. I go back in a week to have it removed.
After I got out we went to lunch at Panera, and then picked up my painkillers at the drugstore. This time I got straight Oxycodone, but I doubt I'll use much of it. It really doesn't hurt to much.
Skyped the FWiB. The connection was so bad that we called on the phone, turned the microphones off the Skype, and put the phones on speaker. That worked quite well. There were some spectacular claps of thunder and rain during our call.
After that I took a nap, or tried to. Mostly I just lay quiet and rested. Got up at 8:3-0 and called Middle Brother, He's doing fine.
Then I puttered online till I called Oldest Brother again. He's doing OK. I called the Kid, she didn't pick up but called me back. We had a nice talk.
Then I puttered again till I fed the pets, and here I am.
