Another late night excursion last night

After I posted here, got invited by mashfanficchick to go out for food. I had already eaten, but went out anyway. We went to the Buccaneer Diner and I just had a smoothie. Unfortunately ze got glutened, so ze was not feeling well, and asleep most of today so we didn't go out today which had been the plan.

So today i slept late again and didn't do much. I Skyoed the FWiB of course, and called Oldest Brother and the Kid at various times.

What I did do was start to change the turtle tank water, which is in a dreadful state. I took out two buckets of water, and then the siphon quit working. There is a squeeze bulb which you use to pump the water from the tank to the bucket so that the siphon effect can take over, and no matter how I squeezed the water would just not rise. Upon inspection, I think that what happened is that, there is a valve in the mouthpiece of the siphon, and I think that valve broke.

So I ordered another siphon from Petco and since it wasn't over $35 I had to pay shipping. Which is frustrating because of course I ordered the turtle food from there yesterday, and if I had ordered the food and the siphon at the same time, it would have been enough for free shipping, but as it was I had to pay shipping on both orders. Annoying.

Anyway, that was the day. Just heard from mashfanficchick, we aren't going out tonight, but tomorrow we are. I will take Oldest Brother the Fire tablet I got him in the morning or eary afternoon, and then we'll go out after that.
