More shopping

Work was quiet. Nothing much to say. The Kid called me, very worried about Omicron, and convinced me that we shouldn't do a restaurant on Christmas. Middle Brother will not be happy, and of course it means we won't be with Oldest Brother, but we'll make do.

After work I met up with mashfanficchick and zer mother at 20th Ave. and we went to T.J. Max, where I got another present for the Kid, and something for mashfanficchick's mother. Then we went to Target, where we got nothing.

From there we went to Michael's, where I got stickers and a sketch pad for Middle Brother. We got food at Qdoba, and then came home.

I called Oldest Brother while we were out, twice. Called the Kid again when I got home, and then Skyped the FWiB.

And now it;s past time for bed.

Meeting night

I had one of those mornings where I couldn't get up, but I was only a half hour late. So that's an improvement.

Work was pretty quiet. Nothing much to say. Tomorrow I have a virtual book discussion, and the bosses boss is supposed to come to that. I am soooo thrilled. Not.

Came home and called Oldest Brother for the second time, then Skyped the FWiB. We only had a short time though becaue I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. It was quite good, there were seven people all in all.

After the meeting was over I quickly ate dinner and then called Oldest Brother and told him we would Skype to test it. It worked out OK. He was able to get the Skype going, we didn't have a great connection though.

Got off that and went to the bedroom and called the Kid. She was watching The Witcher, which she tells me is very good. I may give it a try next week, through I have to finishe The Expanse, and 911: Lonestar first.

That's about all there is to say except they called me from Middle Brother's group home and i arranged to pick him up in Hicksville Christmas Eve, so that's taken care of.
