Lonestar Night

Had another one of those mornings. An hour and 40 minutes late.

Discovered the restaurant that I had been planning on for lunch Sunday isn't open for lunch. Found another, Italian this time. Called the Kid to talk to her about it.

After work I went to mashfanficchick's place for Lonestar. Called Oldest Brother the second and third times from there. we had pasta for dinner, I had tortellini carbonara. WE had some interesting conversation afterward, and then they brought me home.

I fed the pets and Skyped the FWiB briefly, and here I am.

One of Middle Brother's books for his birthday has arrived.

\Busy day

Got up with enough time to take a shower, eat breakfast, and get dressed before my Best Books For the Teenage meeting. The meeting went very well, lots of fun.

After that I killed time until it was time for mashfanficchick and zer mother to pick me up for my doctor's appointment. I was a little bit late, but not too bad. It was the port flush and blood tests, and for once they were able to get the blood from my port and not have to use my hand. The tests were good, and all looks well.

After that we went to Starbucks and then did some shopping. I got some sushi from the supermarket for lunch cause nothing says good doctor's report like raw fish on rice. We went to BJ's and I picked up some stuff, and to Shoprite.

Got home in just enough time to get ready for my meeting. That went very well, finally N from my Friday meeting was able to get in and join us.

After that I heated up my leftovers from last night and ate while I Skyped the FWiB. We didn't talk for too long though, but it was nice. Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and then went to the bedroom and called the Kid. She got the keys to the store that's going to be the site of their coffee shop, and is going to start the work tomorrow.
