Summer Reading Kickoff

That was the big thing today. Outside, we had my button maker and giant Jenga and Connect 4 games, and sidewalk chalk, and chips and bottled water. And the books to give away. So it was a smash success. I gave up my lunch, and break for it, but it was actually fun.

So aside from that, nothing much. I learned our adult librarian is leaving, which no one had told me before.

Came home and called Oldest Brother for the second time, then Skyped the FWiB. Talked a really nice long time to the FWiB. Had him hold on a few minutes while I called Middle Brother, who is fine.

Had dinner, then called Oldest Brother for the third time. Then scouted up so nail polish, For some reason the Kid insists that if I wear my sandles tomorrow, I polish my toenails. The best I could find around the house was mettalic silver, so I called her and asked her if that was OK and she said yes. I polished my toes and let them dry and then fed the pets.

Got everything ready for tomorrow (If I didn't say before, it's the "friends and family" soft opening of the coffee shop!) and then started here.
