Oddly busy day for a Friday

Work was oddly busy for a Friday. Also we were short-staffed. So it was tiring. I weeded another shelf of manga and graphic novels. My therapist called during lunch and we had a session.

Major disappointment, mashfanficchick had tickets for Brooklyn Comicon tomorrow. At least that's what the official printed paper tickets said... but it turns out that Brooklyn Comicon was actually last weekend. We had been planning on going, I was actually going to call in sick, but now I won't have to, which is actually a Good Thing. But disappointing.

After work I went to Boston Market as usual for Friday, and called Oldest Brother for the second time. Then I got some milk. Then I went to my meeting, and while I was waiting Skyped the FWiB from my phone. He is expecting family to visit this weekend, so we may not see much of each other for a bit.

The meeting was very good, though we only had the first, no one wanted to stay for the second. So I got home early.

Called Oldest Brother again, then called the Kid. The Kid had friends over, that's why she didn't pick up when I called yesterday.

Been following the Mets game, they just won 10 to 4 against the Marlins.
