Busy day

There was no BBFT meeting this morning, which I didn't discover till no one showed up and I emailed the committee heads and asked. So I was up, breakfasted, and dressed several hours earlier than I needed. So I drowsed in bed till mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up for my doctor's appointment.

The news from the doctor is good. All my values are down except for my good cholesterol which is up. And I have of course lost a good bit of weight. So I'm doing good. I go back in three months, and I have an appointment for a gyn exam and with a gastroenterologist to get a colonoscopy.

So they picked my up after and we went to a Stop and Shop to get food for lunch. I got sushi, which was actually pretty good.

Then we went to T J Max, and then DSW but I didn't get anything.

Then they brought me home, stopping at the drug store on the way, and I Skyped the FWiB until it was time for my meeting. The meeting was smallish but good.

After the meeting, mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up again, and we went to Target where I got two pairs of pants to replace the ones that have ripped recently. I didn't get a chance to try them on though so I hope they fit.

We got dinner at Taco Bell, and did some food shopping, and then they brought me home, and here I am.

Oldest Brother's phone isn't working right, the ringer isn't ringing, so that has made getting in touch with him difficult. I may have to lodge a complaint.

I called the Kid, she didn't answer though, but she texted during the day.

Bed now.

Frustration

I forgot to turn on my alarm last night, then I woke up and could probably have made to bus on time except I couldn't get out of bed. I ended up being only 10 minutes late though, so that's good.

Then I couldn't get through to Oldest Brother when I called. The ringer on his phone has not been fixed and the nurses at the desk frequently don't answer when I ask to be put through to nursing. It is very upsetting. I just sent a message through the message system on their webpage which I'm sure isn't how I should address it but I don't know how else to deal with it.

Work was OK. I weeded a shelf of graphic novels and manga. And I created a book bundle for shelf-help. The disturbed woman patron was there again but didn't cause a problem, she slept which is against the rules but we mostly ignored her, and finally she woke up and left.

When I left work I ended up waiting an hour for a bus. A full hour!!! I have no idea why.

There was no D&D tonight. When I got home I called Oldest Brother and got lucky and got hold of him. Then I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice talk and then I read online, lost track of the time, and missed calling Oldest Brother when I should have, with the result that I didn't get hold of him.

So then I had dinner and called the Kid. We talked for a bit, and then I got off and fed the pets.

I changed the filter pad in the turtle tank filter, and the filter isn't working. Tomorrow I am going to take it apart and clean it thoroughly and see if that fixes it, if not it's yet a new filter. I am pissed about that.

So all in all a frustrating, annoying day.
