Quiet day

I had a bout of sleeplessness last night, from 4:00 to 5:30 I was awake, so I slept late to make up for it. Then got up, breakfasted and coffeed, and puttered online, then Skyped the FWiB.

After we Skyped I went and read for awhile, then I cleaned the turtle filter out to see if that would start it working again. It didn't.

So I went online and ordered a new one of a different type. Sadly Petco's return policy only covers 30 day and it was longer than that, so I'll just have to dump the old one.

I called mashfanficchick's mother to arrange for picking me up tomorrow for the doctor.

I had dinner, and then called Middle brother. He is good, went to a birthday party yesterday. Called Oldest brother again for the third time, and then called the Kid. Nothing new with either.

Then I read some more until it was past time to feed the pets, and wrote in here.

Today Nichelle Nichols died. The Star trek cast is just slipping away...
