End of summer celebration
Aug. 30th, 2022 10:37 pmStarted the day by oversleeping but made it to the bus on time anyway. So I made it to the BBFT meeting on time. Which was good.
Then in the afternoon I had the End of Summer Celebration, and it turned out really good! I got eight kids! so that was excellent. I sort of over indulged in Utz snacks though.
After work the there was traffic on the way home, and I didn't get here till after 7. Called Oldest Brother for the second time and then Skyped the FWiB for as long as we had before my Al-anon meeting. Short but sweet.
Then after my meeting I had dinner and called Oldest Brother again. John Ivon called him today too. I had dinner and then called the Kid. She answered but was trying to sleep so we didn't really talk.
I'm reading another of the Penric and Desdemona stories. That's about all.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. One of my stories, Moments in Time: 2020, was recc'd.
3. My meetings and the people there.
4. Good results for my celebration.
5. Good books.
6. Made it to work on time.
