Some sad news

I made it to work on time. Nothing much happened until just before my break when the Kid called me. Birb, her parakeet, the one that she rescued from outside, died today. No apparent reason. She was very upset, and I am sad too. He was a cute little guy and will be missed.

After work I went to Boston Market for dinner, and called Oldest Brother for the second time. Then I went to my Al-anon meeting, Skyping the FWiB first for a short period of time.

The meeting was good, though smaller than we've been having.

After that I waited for the bus. The 9:05 never came and the 9:35 was late. Finally it showed up and i got home. I called Oldest Brother from the bus because it was so late. Then when i got home I called the Kid again, to see how she was, and then Skyped the FWiB again.

Hell of a start to the long weekend.
