Happy Labor Day

Didn't do much today, and nothing special for the day I'm afraid.

I slept latish and then had breakfast and coffee. Puttered on the computer and eventually Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time.

I changed the water in the turtle tank., I didn't bother cleaning the filter because i just did that yesterday and it was such a problem getting it working right again after.

Then I went and read The Spirit Ring, which is Lois McMaster Bujold's least regarded book, but which I happen to like very much and which I have on my Nook. I started it last night.

After i read awhile, I got up and took the garbage out. I was thinking of taking the recycling too, but the garbage area was pretty jammed, so I think I'll wait till it's been collected.

Then I read more, till dinner time. I had dinner, and set my fitbit to charge, and then went and read some more. I called Oldest Brother and I previously had called the Kid. who didn't pick up. I texted her that i needed to know about tomorrow and she texted back that she'll be in touch tomorrow morning. I hope she is.

Then I read till it was time to feed the pets, and here I am.
