Getting ready for my trip
Oct. 7th, 2022 10:21 pmGot up at 10 and had breakfast and coffee. The Kid called and we talked awhile. Then I showered and dressed and went down to the drug store for my prescriptions.
Came home and put in a Shipt order. Then I polished my toenails, and Skyped the FWiB. We got off for awhile while he took care of some stuff, then got back on again. We Skyped until it was time for me to pick up my laundry. The Shipt order as delivered and I put it away while we were on.
So I went and did that, and then finished my packing. Then I shaved my legs. Got dressed again, and lay down for a little while, then got up and headed down to the bus to go to my Al-anon meeting.

mashfanficchick texted to reassure me ze and zer mother were going to pick me up tomorrow at 9:30. And ze was going to the Mets game tonight. The Kid texted and told me that she had a good day at the coffee shop.
Went to Boston Market for dinner, and called Oldest Brother for the second time. Then walked to the drug store there, and bought some hair mousse, which I didn't do this morning because I thought I had some. Then when I went to pack it, the can was empty. So I got mousse.
Went to the meeting, it was small, but good. We cancelled the second meeting, and I came home at 8, got here at 8:30. Packed a little bit more stuff, including the mousse, and then called Oldest Brother for the third time.
Forgot to say, I got a call during the day from the nursing home that Oldest Brother has an infection of some sort in his foot. They are treating it with antibiotics. So that's a worry, but they didn't seem too concerned.
Anyway, finally finished all the packing, and lay down nd puttered on my phone for awhile. Then got up to feed the pets. And here I am.
