Busy day

Started out by getting uup later than I should have, and rushing to get showered and dressed. Then I went to my Al-anon meeting in Bowne Park, stopping first at the bagel store for a bcon, egg, and cheese on a rioll, and coffee.

The meeting was very good, and afterward a bunch of us went to a diner. I got a bagel with lox and cream cheese. Got a ride home, and then got on the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat.

Was just in time for the tail end of the episode, which was nice. Then we chatted for awhile, until everyone had to leave, and then I Skyped the FWiB.

We Skyped for an hour, he still isn't feeling too good. Then after that i puttered around and did various things, including making an appointment for a flu shot at Rite Aid on Tuesday. I will vot and I will then go for my shot.

Finally called Oldest Brother for the third time (though he didn't pick up the first time) and then called the Kid. She had a very good day at the coffee shop, made over $400 for the first time.

Now I am going to go and read I think. I plugged my Nook in last night and read while it was charging, so it's almost at full. I'm reading the third Thursday Murder Club book now, The Bullet that Missed.

I have decided to take the turtle to the vet on Wednesday. I'll call and make an appointment on Monday.
