Got up and breakfasted and coffeed and showered and dressed and took an Uber over to my doctor's appointment for the port flush. Got there a half hour early so I go in a little early so I got out a little early. Because I had enough time, I took the bus home instead of paying for another Uber.
Got home and gave the turtle her shot. I did better this time, didn't squirt any in the air. She is still acting fine but not eating. I hope she starts getting better soon, I'm worried.
Then at 3:00 the super came and took off the old medicine cabinet and put up the new one. It is very nice, but not as good as the old one, being much smaller. I'll have to see what I can fit in it.
After that I Skyped the FWiB. Had a nice time.
Puttered around for a few hours, till 8:00 when I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. I was the only regular member there, but two people came from outsode so we had a meeting and it was very good.
Then I had dinner, and then called Oldest Brother. I am very worried, he got a letter there at the nursing home that he couldn't understand and couldn't read to me but it seems to be about his Medicaid. I called the social worker's office and left a message for her to please check it out tomorrow and let me know what it's about. I called the Kid and she did some googling and found out some stuff that was reassuring, though. But I'm still worried. We may need an elder lawyer.
So that was my day. Oh I forgot to say, my oncologist is leaving the practice so I need to either follow her to Bethpage or find a new oncologist at one of their two other sites. I will have to talk to![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick and zer mother about the locations and which is most convenient.
