Another one of those mornings

And a bad one. I went back to sleep when I should have gotten up. Was an hour and forty minutes late. 'Nuf said.

The rest of the day went well. Eva R. flew down from Detroit and visited Oldest Brother in the nursing home today, and she called me from there. That was nice for him, and she may come back another day. Seems she works for the airline as a ticketing agent so gets free or cheap, not sure which, flights.

Anyway, mashfanficchick texted me that ze and zer mother were going to Five Pennies Creamery to see Danny before the shop closes tomorrow, and did i want to come? Of course yes. So they met me at 20th Avenue and we went out to Long Island and had ice cream. I had maple gingersnap. I will miss that place even though I only went a few times with them.

After that they brought me home and I put in a Shipt order, and Skyped the FWiB. Got done a bit early so he could watch Frozen 2 and I could call Oldest Brother again. The Kid texted me, the shop broke $400 today for the first time.

Then I had a snack and some coffee, and lay down and scrolled Facebook.

Have just fed the turtle, I think she ate but I can't really tell cause those darn jumbo food pellets sink instead of staying floating so I can't tell if she ate or not. Tomorrow I should get the other food, the smaller pellets again, which I hope will float better.
