A good day
Jan. 12th, 2023 10:57 pmMore or less. Made it to work early again. Got the other two librarians to help me shop for what I need to get a Switch video system going for the teens, will be ordering it probably Saturday.
Had the YA Chat which was basically a question and answer session about the spending money, and therefore was interesting and enjoyable.
After lunch, I had the only bad part of the day, a virtual book discussion that the two kids signed up for it didn't show. Sad, I spent a lot of effort reserving books I didn't have, to share.
Went home in the rain but it was OK. Put in a Shipt order on my phone. Got home and there was material from the breast cancer research project waiting for me. I called Oldest Brother, hadn't gotten through to him when I called in the morning, finally did. They had him sitting up in the dining room.
Skyped the FWiB, had nice time. Called Middle Brother while we were talking, he's fine. Getting new glasses finally. The Shipt order showed up while we were Skyping too. Then had dinner, and called Oldest Brother again, then called the Kid. She didn't answer, but called me back in a bit, and we talked.
The other bad thing is the turtle hasn't eaten. We're back to that again.
