Saturday work
Jan. 14th, 2023 10:32 pmI was somewhat late this morning, a little over five minutes. That's three latenesses this pay period. Not good. But aside from that the day went well.
I put in the requisition for the Switch, and games, and charger, and for the LED strip lights I want for my section. And I got the worktags right. With some help from the adult librarian, I got it successfully submitted. Go me!
There was a virtual shipmeet today, which I was hoping to join at the tail end when I got home. I missed a bus though and the next wasn't until 5:33, so I tried and was successful in joining in from my phone from the bus stop. It was a Zoom meet, and although it was late in the UK there were still a few people there, so I got in on part of it. That was fun.
I switched to Zooming from the computer when I got home, and after that I Skyped the FWiB. We talked for an hour, and then I had dinner.
I tried calling Oldest Brother several times today and was unsuccessful in getting him. I finally called nursing and found that the phones in his room are out. This is upsetting.
On the brighter side, this morning I discovered that the turtle had apparently laid two eggs, and it seems that being gravid was what caused her to stop eating once more, because now she is eating fine again.

mashfanficchick to discuss plans for tomorrow but ze couldn't talk, so ze is going to call back.
I'm not calling the Kid because she's at a party tonight, but she texted me today.
I read about a book called Legends and Lattes the other day, and was interested, so today I downloaded a free sample to my Nook and read it. It was surprisingly good, so I bought it. Have to finish the new Janet Evanovitch first though before I read it.
