No D&D but a nice day anyway

Got up this morning, had breakfast and showered and dressed and was picked up by mashfanficchick and zer mother. We started by going to Carvel for sundaes, rather than going in the evening like usual. Then we dropped of my second sundae at my place and went to BJ's and Target. At BJ's I got a wheel of Brie, and at Target I got sugar-free creamer.

Then we went to Jersey Mike's for a late lunch. We took our sandwiches back to mashfanficchick's place and ate there. I love the jersey Mike's portobello cheese steak. It's soooooo goooood.

After we ate we watched yesterday's episode of Lonestar. It was a lot of fun. Then i helped with a little bit of cleaning up, and then they brought me home.

I logged into the Zoom meeting for D&D, but the DM said he wasn't up to it tonight, because his heat isn't working because of a problem with their gas lines. And he's in Chicago so it's kind of cold. We won't play next week either because several players can't make it, and after that we go to the other campaign for a few weeks until we can all get together again and finally slay the dragon.

So that was disappointment but I made the best of it by Skyping the FWiB for the time I would have been playing. Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and had some food and some decaf, and called the Kid, She didn't pick up but I'm hoping she'll call back later.

Now going to go to the bedroom and read for a bit.
