Slept later than intended

I woke up around 10-ish, called Oldest Brother from bed, then went back to sleep for two more hours. Finally got up, had breakfast and coffee, puttered on the computer a bit, and then showered and dressed.

mashfanficchick and zer mother were supposed to pick me up around 2:30 or so, but stuff happened and they were late, which gave me time to take out some garbage which needed taking out. We should have been fine for time to get to my doctor's appointment at 4:00, but there were two different accidents and a car breakdown which all caused traffic tie-ups, and we ended up getting there just before 4:30. Luckily I had called them and told them I would be late so it was OK.

So I had my port flush and my blood tests and exam, all of which were fine. We went to dinner at a place called On the Border, which is Tex-Mex, and very good. I ate more than I should have really, but it was delicious.

They brought me home and I got here just in time to sign into my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. It was small but good. S couldn't make it because he is having a pacemaker installed, which is a little worrying. I hope he's going to be OK.

After the meeting I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and then called the Kid. Sje picked up so we talked a little. Then I Skyped the FWiB.

We talked for a shorter than usual time because it was late. Then I fed the pets and had a cup of decaf.

Now waiting for mashfanficchick, who is going to drop something off.

Oldest Brother got a questionnaire from the jury dept. which means if I don't do something he;ll be summoned for jury duty, which is clearly impossible. I'm going to call the social worker at the nursing home tomorrow to see if she can deal with it. Otherwise I'll have to take care of it.
