Posting a little early

The day had a bad start, I meant to get up a half hour early and go vote in the Primary election, but I blew it, over slept, and ended up not voting at all. I rarely, if ever, miss an election, but there was nothing in this one I felt particularly caring about.

Anyway, I ended up being 20 minutes late to work, not good, but like I said, the boss never even mentioned lateness at our 1 on 1, so maybe she noticed that I'm getting better? I went to the deli for half-and-half, too.

The quarterly report is due by next week, so I worked on that in the morning. A bunch of piffle. Then at lunch time, mashfanficchick and zer friend-and-pseudo-brother Josh, who we're going to stay with in Amsterdam, called, and the three of us talked over various things relating to the trip. We got tickets for the Anne Frank House, despite it being last minute.

Then I did the Teen Lounge, but it was somewhat of a disaster, only the little kids came, and I had to toss two out and most of the others left with them. Depressing. It's the last day of school and the kids were bouncing off the walls, so that sort of explains it.

After work I Skyped the FWiB, and then did my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. That also didn't work out so good, we ran out of time and got cut off. I should have handled it better.

I went to the kitchen to make dinner, and while I was nuking it, John Ivon called! So we had a nice talk.

Then the Kid texted, so I asked her to call and she did. We had a nice little chat. Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time.

And that's about all there is to say, a fairly busy day.
