Coffee shop day, Pathfinder night

mashfanficchick wasn't feeling up to anything today, so after making coffee and showering I dressed and set off to see the Kid at her coffee shop on my own. I stopped in the bagel shop and got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll, and a bottled Starbucks mocha. Bad mistake, alas, I had about two mouthfuls of it, put it down on the seat of the bus shelter while I was trying to get my sandwich out of the bag, and it fell off and the bottle smashed. So that was disappointing.

Anyway, the trip to the coffee shop was uneventful other than that, it's the 44 or 20 bus to the subway, and then the 7 to the G, nice easy trip. Had a nice day at the shop. Afterward we went out for a drink with her boyfriend at a place called Diamond Lil's. Very nice. I was going to pay, but the boyfriend did. Then they went out to dinner and I came back to play Pathfinder.

I can't believe how lucky I got in traveling, I thought I would be about a half hour late, instead I was only a few minutes late and the game hadn't started yet. So we had a good time, we made second level, and killed a boss grindylow. I got a +1 spear, and a +1 mithril chain shirt.

Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and fed the pets. Then I Skyped the FWiB for a very brief time. And I called mashfanficchick who is feeling a little better but still not good. Hope ze is up to doing something tomorrow!

So that was the day.
