Barnes and Noble
Jul. 25th, 2023 10:17 pmSlept till 11 this morning, after being awake for a couple of hours in the middle of the night last night when I downloaded the new Mercedes Lackey to my Nook. Then I called Oldest Brother and didn't get him so I figured they were giving him a shower. So I called ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick and ze didn't answer. So I had breakfast and called zer again, finally got zer.
We decided they would pickup Dori and get me at around 1:30. So I did my internet reading and then showered and dressed.
I checked the mail, and the check for the class action suit from Zoom had arrived, $32.32, So I deposited that and decided to splurge a bit today. I called Oldest Brother again and they told me he was eating lunch in the dining room and I should call back.
They got to me about 2, with Dori, and we went to the Carle Place Diner for lunch. I got a toasted bagel with lox and cream cheese and a chocolate egg cream. Then Dori let me finish off her onion rings too.
Then we went to Barnes and Noble, and I did in fact splurge, and got two books instead pf my usual one. I got a Le Guin novel, and a book called Her Majesty's Royal Coven. I now have a LOT of unread books sitting aorund I need to get to.
Anyway, after we finished at the bookstore they brought me home, and I called Oldest Brother again and finally got him, and I didn't like the way he sounds. I don't know what's wrong, I hope he's just tired.
When I got home it was only minutes till my meeting so I got on Zoom for that/ Small, and M kept getting bounced out by a bad connection or something, but we had it.
Then I Skyped the FWiB, and we had a nice time. I called Oldest Brother back again, he sounded a little bit better but I don't know...
mashfanficchick Facebook messaged, there is some change in the situation regarding zer passport. We shall see what comes of it.
And now it's time to go to bed and read.
