the Wicked Day: 9/11 22 years on
Sep. 11th, 2023 11:01 pmNot much to say about it. My first 9/11 out of New York, and only a few memories.
We got up at 9 and had breakfast, then we went to The Hershey Museum.
We had meant to go there only for a few hours and then go to the Hersey Gardens, but it was surprisingly interesting, and we spent the whole day there. We did a hot chocolate tasting, and then a Chocolate Lab, in which we learned about chocolate and made a candy bar.
I am sorry that we didn't make it to the gardens, because they have a butterfly atrium, but I did enjoy the museum too.
Anyway, we were there till closing time, and then drove to meet MJ for dinner. We went to a Vietnam - Thai place. I got crab Rangoon, pho, and Thai iced tea. Everything was delicious and it was very nice seeing MJ.
After dinner we sat and talked for awhile, then we went to an ice cream place. Sadly the place MJ wanted to take us was closed, but there was another one she knew across the street so we went there instead. I got two scoops, peach and honeycomb. Then we dropped MJ off and came back to the hotel.
On the way back I called Oldest Brother for the third time. Laurie called him today which is nice. Then I called the Kid, and talked to her a bit. She is back from her convention and had a good time.
In the hotel I Skyped the FWiB, and now I'm going to go to bed.![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
