Oldest Brother seems much improved!
Oct. 16th, 2023 10:27 pmMade it to work on time, there was a really nasty episode with one of our regular patrons, fortunately not involving me, but disturbing and unpleasant none-the-less. I suspect it isn't over and there will be more blowback from it and more nastiness to come.
Aside from that in the morning though, the day went pretty well. I did the journaling program and actually got a group of girls in to try and wrote something for the Freedom to Read essay contest.
After work I took the bus to 02th ave. and then Ubered from there to the hospital. I got a pleasant surprise, Oldest Brother is mentally much more aware and present, and capable of very limited speech.
So I stayed for about 40 minutes and then Ubered home. Called the Kid to tell her the good news. Skyped the FWiB. And got a phone call from![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

After that I had dinner and fed the pets.
And that was the day.
