Meeting night
Nov. 3rd, 2023 11:19 pmMade it to work on time, we had a brief staff meeting. It was painless.
I called Oldest Brother in the morning and he didn't answer. I called again during my break, and then nursing, and had them check his phone, and sure enough, it was on the floor and he couldn't get it.
After work I went to Boston Market for dinner, and then to my Al-anon meeting, which was very good. New people.
Came home, and to my delight, all my three orders had arrived on the same day. I knew the Boys in Blue zone had arrived, but it was a total surprise that the copy of Max's Wonderful Delicatessen and the mugs I ordered for the Kid for Christmas got here too. So I had fun opening them.
Then I called Oldest Brother, and then I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice long talk.

mashfanficchick, they aren't leaving till tomorrow after all.
Flamingo has put out tentative dates for both the 2024 virtual SHarecon, and the 2025 in person one, moving it to late September rather than mid October. That's fine with me, since I hope to be retired by then. We shall see.
