Made it to work on time, after voting. I voted straight Dem as always.
Went to work, and discovered that the one-on-one with the boss was at 2, so I had some time to be nervous. Oldest Brother once again didn't answer when I called so at lunch I called nursing and had someone check on his phone. I don't know what she found but she transferred me and he answered, and has answered each time I called since.
The one-on-one was painful but not excruciating. It is obvious the boss does not have much respect for me, but there was little she could actually say. I did get in trouble for not consulting with the adult librarian before I filled out that grant form. But what could she do about it except snipe?
Anyway, after that the day went depressingly slowly. I tried to do the Teen Lounge but because there were no kids there because there was no school because Election Day, I got no one, and eventually cancelled. The Kid texted about some stuff. I made an appointment for a flu shot and Covid booster on Friday.
Came home, and called Oldest Brother, then Skyped the FWiB. We talked until my meeting at 8. The meeting was pretty good, step and tradition.
After that I called Oldest Brother again, and had dinner, then went to the bedroom and lay down. I played solitaire, and called the Kid. We had a nice talk about the election results. So far, so good.
