D&D night

And a major annoyance at work.

Made it to work on time. At a bit after 11, a patron came in reeking of excrement. Seriously bad. Undeniably human poo. Everyone sort of dithered about what to do, throw him out or not. The adult librarian, who was in charge, decided that he couldn't be told to leave unless someone complained. So at 12 she was shelving books, and someone went to her and complained about the smell. Instead of going to the smelly man and telling him to leave, she came to me, said she was on lunch, and I was in charge and had to deal with it. Lovely. I was sooooooo pissed at her. But I did it. I got Mr. T to come with me, and told the guy, maybe he stepped in something, or there was something on his clothing, but there was a smell and someone had complained, and he had to leave. He did. Super embarrassing for me, and scary. I don't get paid enough for this. The adult librarian is the official second in charge, and gets paid extra for that. But she had to dump it on me.

The rest of the day passed quietly. The Kid texted to ask for a favor, which I was able to do. I did the Teen Lounge and got about 15, in and out mostly. It was good.

Came home and called Oldest Brother, then Skyped the FWiB.

Then the D&D game, part one of the Big Blazing Battle that was set up last time. We didn't finish, and we aren't playing next week, but the week after we'll finish.

After the game it was too late to call Oldest Brother again, so I just had dinner and fed the pets.

And now it's time for bed.
