Port Flush

mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up at 12:30.
We went out to long Island and got lunch at On the Border. Then we went to Ikea for awhile, for zer to look at tables. I found an adorable plush octopus that I got for the Kid for Christmas.
Then they took me to my port flush and doctor checkup. Dr Kalra wasn't there so I saw the doctor who was filling in for her, and she said I could start thinking about removal of the port, since it's been two years since I finished chemo. I am thrilled!
I called Oldest Brother, and ended up also talking to Winnie, the person I've been in contact with at the nursing home. She filled me in on what she knows about the urologist's appointment he had today. They are taking out the Foley catheter tomorrow and seeing if he can manage without it now. I talked to Oldest Brother, he was very tired.
After my appointment, we went to the mall to look for something, and then we came back to Queens for Carvel. After Carvel we went to Starbucks, and then briefly to Target.
Then home just in time to get to my Pathfinder game. We had a good session. Battled some nasty monsters successfully.
Called oldest Brother for the second time, then calledmashfanficchick's mother to make arrangements for her to take me to the gynecologist tomorrow (mashfanficchick is otherwise busy) and then I Skyped the FWiB.
Just got a call from the Kid, all is well with her.
