Monday is Monday
Feb. 12th, 2024 10:28 pmI was late and I don't know how because I got up in enough time to make the bus, and then I didn't. Was 15 minutes late.
The day was pretty good aside from that. I called the old nursing home and left a message about the money, no response yet. My boss had screwed up the schedules again, didn't give me a free day for the week after my vacation, so I pointed that out, and she gave me a free day when I had a program, and also am doing the baby lapsit for the children's person. So I pointed that out and she gave me another free day instead. She is just not good with schedules.

mashfanficchick about something ze found online that's a great birthday present for the Kid. I had zer order it for me, so that's coming.
Anyway today I had my first anime showing and got 7. I showed two episodes of Death Note.
I got a text from Amy. She had sent a Christmas card, but to my old Whitestone address, so it got returned. I gave her my current address and we exchanged some pleasantries. That was nice.
But the big news is... SNOW DAY tomorrow. Due to the impending inclement weather, we are closed tomorrow. Yay! Especially since tomorrow was supposed to be my one on one for the month.
I came home, the bus came at the right time thank goodness, and went and picked up my laundry. Then I Skyped the FWiB, which is always good. He finally got to the doctor, the pulmonologist, about the coughing, and he changed his medication to something stronger, so I hope that helps.
The Kid called and we had a brief conversation. All is well.
And that's about all. Fed the pets and started here. Going to go to bed and read for awhile.

Edited to add: I completely forgot to say, I also did the baby lapsit today. That was nice, there were four kids and three adults, so it wasn't too overwhelming, and it was fun.
