I was woken up this morning by the nursing home calling me to tell me Oldest Brother had fallen out of bed during the night and they were taking him to the hospital to be checked out. Then I went back to sleep. Then I overslept and was an hour late.
Yesterday in my work email there was an "invitation" to a check-in with my boss today at 10. I had no idea what that meant. I was very worried. But when I got to work there was no mention of it, and there was nothing on the daily schedule about it. Go figure.
Work was dead quiet, though some odd things happened with technology. We are giving out eclipse glasses for the eclipse on April 8th, and a lot of people wanted those.
After work I got a bus almost immediately after getting to the stop, which was nice. I got off at 20th ave, and walked to Starbucks to meet up with![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick, zer mother, and Dani. We hung out talking there for a long time, which was fun. The nursing home called me and told me Oldest Brother was back there and OK.
Then we went to Qdoba for dinner. That was tasty, I got the lime grilled shrimp in a burrito. We hung out there and talked for awhile too.
Then they drove me back to my place, and we hung out in the car talking, until it got quite late. Sadly by the time I got in, fed the pets, and got on the computer the FWiB had gone to bed for the night. So no Skype tonight.
Tomorrow is Easter but I'm not doing anything for it. Will probably end up going withmashfanficchick and zer mother to drive Dani to New Jersey.
