Delivery finally
May. 15th, 2024 11:20 pmI slept later than usual today, til after 12. Then got up and had breakfast and coffee.
Showered and dressed, then called the pharmacy and actually got through on the first try! I did not ask why I couldn't get through yesterday, I did ask why my order was cancelled. It was something to do with my card not going through before the order was placed. Go figure. Anyway, she set it up again, and I finally got my prescriptions delivered.
Though that was a bit of a mess, several things went wrong including that the guy didn't speak enough English to explain what was going wrong. I finally figured out that his phone wasn't signing in to the app to complete the delivery. We got that straightened out and I got my drugs.
Anyway, I also put several stories on the Starsky and Hutch archive, and in the process discovered that somehow I left my story Tradition, Tradition off of AO3. I don't know how I managed that and never noticed, it's one of my older stories, from the 2008 advent calendar! So anyway, I posted that on AO3 as well.

mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up around 3 and we went to Starbucks to hang out. We did a brief visit to Old Navy (which is across the parking lot from Starbucks) but unusually I didn't see anything I wanted to buy. I did, however, order the first two Lord Peter Whimsey mysteries from Thriftbooks. I have been ordering more than I should recently, and need to hold off, but it was all stuff I really wanted to replace from my past. I'll post about it as it arrives.
After Starbucks we went to Carvel and got ice cream, because Wednesday is Sundae. Then they brought me back in time for my Pathfinder game.
There were enough of us to play today so we did, we explored a nasty swamp and fought a will o'wisp, a thorny mound, and eight stirges.
After the game was over I fed the pets, and then Skyped the FWiB, who, I should say, got his internet straightened out this morning so we were able to email during the day. That was fun.
Now it's time for bed. I have my CT scans tomorrow. Not looking forward to that, since I'll have to fast beforehand. But they have to check how the nodules in my lungs are doing.

Edit to add: Forgot to say, It's the Kid's birthday. I asked her to call me and she did, and we had a nice birthday chat.
